Advanced Network & Services has designed, launched and deployed one of the world's leading online learning programs for elementary and high school students and teachers through the ThinkQuest website and the ThinkQuest Internet Challenge. In addition to ANS's expertise in constructing websites, designing online learning systems, and training teachers in educational technology, ANS has developed the capacity to build international partnerships with educational and non-govermental organizations that collaborate to bring e-learning opportunities and skills to students on both sides of the global digital divide. More than 2 million people visit the ThinkQuest Web Library each month; parents, students, teachers, school systems, universities, and NGOs use the more than 4500 websites in the library to conduct research in science, mathematics, literature, the arts, social sciences, health, sports, and interdisciplinary topics. Students who partipate in the ThinkQuest Internet Challenge, an online team-based learning initiative, gain skills in teamwork, project management, online research, Internet literacy, website design, and publishing. Teams reach out across geographical, cultural, gender, racial, and income divides by recruiting members across national boundaries.
